Microsoft Outlook is an email tool that offers many functions that allow you to efficiently manage your mailbox.

In this article, we will see how to create a free Outlook email address in just a few minutes.

 

1. Set up your email address

 

In your web browser, go to https://outlook.live.com/ and click on the "Create a free account" button.

 

 

 

You then access a pop-up where you must choose the name of your email address. For example: firstname.lastname@outlook.fr.

 

 

 

Once this is done, you now need to set a password that will allow you to keep all the confidentiality of your mail.

 

 

 

Tip: Mix lowercase and uppercase letters but also numbers and special characters like @, !, #, etc. Check the "Show password" box to ensure you don't make a mistake.

Then click "Next".

You will then have to give your first and last name and click on "Next", finally, select your country and your date of birth thanks to the drop-down menus.

 

2. One last step, security…

 

The last step will be to copy a Captcha code to validate that you are not a bot.

Click one last time on the "Next" button and your new Outlook email that is ready to be used!

From now on, you just need to connect to your mailbox with your identifiers to access your emails.
