Realizing the hierarchical relationships of your company is not always simple. Thanks to Microsoft, you can create an organizational chart that will make your job much easier. Indeed, an organizational chart is a representation of the organizational structure of a company, in which we can find all the links and relationships between individuals.
Make it easier to present your company with organizational charts!
Beforehand, know that this organizational chart can be done just as well from Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Microsoft Outlook.
Step 1: The "SmartArt"
Once in your document, go to the "Insert" tab, then click on the "SmartArt" button to discover all the available schematic and organizational chart templates.
Step 2: Choose your SmartArt template
A window will open, offering you the opportunity to choose the model you prefer among all the models proposed.
To find the organizational charts, go to the "Hierarchy" category in the left column.
Once you have selected your template, click on "OK" at the bottom right of the window.
Step 3: Insert the text
Your organization chart will now appear on your page. All you have to do is write the text you want by clicking on the colored boxes or by inserting it in the window opened on the left.
You now know how to make an organization chart from different applications such as Word, PowerPoint, or Outlook. From now on, presenting the organizational structure as well as the different actors present in your company is child's play. What's more, this will be much more understandable for all your employees.
