Training Theme

This course introduces you to Excel, the spreadsheet program developed by Microsoft. You'll learn the basics of Excel, from discovering the interface and ribbon to creating clear, optimized tables. The aim is for you to be self-sufficient in using formulas that exploit mathematical operators, as well as the main statistical functions to generate averages, maximums and minimums, for example. You'll also be able to highlight your results using conditional formatting tools and simple, synthetic graphs, all of which will be covered during this training course with the aim of deepening your knowledge and developing your skills. Processing large volumes of data is also on the agenda, notably through the use of sorting and filtering functions.
Finally, once your tables and data have been organized and processed, you'll discover how to lay out your workbook for printing, or how to collaborate in real time on a document.

Learn more about Microsoft Excel

Microsoft's flagship spreadsheet tool, Excel, needs no further introduction, but this table processing solution has continued to evolve over the years.

Through advanced research into the tool's uses, Microsoft has made its interface more accessible and its functionalities even richer. Whether you're working with a simple table or a large amount of data, you can count on Microsoft Excel's advanced calculation, processing and formatting capabilities.

The application's interface makes it easy to find your bearings: the formula bar, the grid of columns and rows and the tabs, a system you may have seen and experienced in other Microsoft applications. However, the logic of the navigation ribbon has been rethought to be more logical: from left to right, you'll find the categories of functionalities, ranked from most-used to least-used.

As you familiarize yourself with this tool, you'll gain in time and efficiency in the basic uses of Microsoft Excel and in the processing of your data.
