Introduction to Presenter View
The presenter view is designed to assist you during your presentation. It allows you to see upcoming slides and your notes while the audience views only the current slide. This setup enhances your ability to engage with the audience effectively. -
Navigating Slides
To advance through your slides, you have several options: - Click either monitor. - Use the forward arrow. - Press the space bar. The current slide displays a title, and the preview monitor indicates that the first bullet will animate on the next slide transition. Note that animations and transitions will not be visible in presenter view but will appear correctly on the audience's screen. -
Going Back and Jumping to Slides
If you need to return to a previous slide, you can: - Press the back arrow. - Use the backspace key. To jump to a specific slide, click the 'See All Slides' button. If you know the slide number, simply type it and press Enter. Additionally, you can run a custom show created in PowerPoint by selecting it from the options. -
Managing Your Notes
Your notes are accessible in presenter view. To adjust the text size, use the designated buttons. You can scroll through your notes using the mouse or by pressing Control along with the up or down arrow keys. -
Using Tools and Options
Underneath the main monitor, you will find various tools and options: - Select a laser pointer, pen, or highlighter by clicking the pen icon. - Change pen colors and erase all ink on the slide. - Zoom into a specific area of the slide by clicking the zoom button; click it again to return to normal size. - Use the black screen button to divert the audience's attention away from the screen if necessary. -
Timing and Additional Controls
A timer is available for you to track your presentation time, which you can pause or reset as needed. Additionally, a clock is displayed for your convenience. These are the primary controls you will use during your presentation. -
