Automatic Draft Saving in Outlook
Outlook automatically attempts to save an email message that you are creating but have not yet sent every three minutes. This feature ensures that a draft of your message is created, allowing you to save it at any time, especially when you try to close the message without sending it. -
Closing Messages and Saving Drafts
When you close Outlook after composing an email, a prompt appears asking if you want to save your changes. If you click 'Yes', your message is saved directly to your Drafts folder. You can later retrieve and finish composing the email from this folder. -
Managing Unsaved Emails
If there are unsent emails in your Inbox, Outlook will notify you that these messages have drafts. This feature is particularly useful if you are interrupted while writing.
