To initiate various actions in Microsoft Loop, you can use the slash command. This command opens up a range of options that facilitate the integration of different elements into your page. -
Mentioning Colleagues
The 'People' option allows you to mention colleagues within your organization. You can either select from recent contacts or type their name after the '@' symbol, similar to how it's done in Teams. If you mention someone who does not have access to the content, you will need to grant them access by clicking the plus symbol to send a notification. -
Inserting Files
You can integrate recent files into your component using the 'Files' option. The suggestions for files may vary based on whether Artificial Intelligence is enabled in your Microsoft Loop settings. To search for a specific file, you can click on 'Word files' or type the filename after the '@' symbol. Note that files will not be stored in your Loop; they will remain in their original location, generating a clickable access link for collaborators. -
